Dennis Stearns

Principal & Gunsmith

Dennis Stearns brings with him 28 years of experience as a gun shop owner and gunsmith. He has over 25 years of law enforcement experience and has been a police armorer for 26 years. His expertise includes experience as a Glock Factory Certified Armorer and a former gunnery tech (gunsmith) at Winchester (Olin Corp.). Dennis has been awarded the “Outstanding Marksmanship Award” from the Illinois State Law Enforcement Training and the Citizen of the year award (CCRKBA). He has Forensic Services training, Weapons Retention - Disarming Tactics Certification, machine tool & die certification (2 years college), Illinois "Private Detective Firearms" certification training and 4 different Law Enforcement Academy Training . Dennis is an NRA "Pistol Instructor" and an NRA “Range Safety Officer". He is currently a member of the Police Marksman Association and the Fraternal Order of Police.
